I'm Going to be a Mommy!

Here is my new baby:

The girl in the picture is his breeder. The older dogs are his parents. That's what he will look like when he is full grown. I love him! I have waited seven years for him. Finally, making the commitment. What shall I name him? Suggestions? I am between Miles and Bailey.

Traci, you can't know how incredibly jealous of you I am at this moment! I've been wanting a dog for a long time, but I know that with my job I wouldn't do a good job of raising one right now. Oh, I wish you the best, and I'm very happy for you! :)

Congrats!!!! I hope you have many sleepless nights (evil cackle) No really, big congrats, I'm thrilled for you're little guy. I like both names, Miles seems to roll off the tongue easier but Bailey sounds a bit perkier. I guess only you know for sure which it is. Maybe get to know him a little? I love puppies, they bring so much life to a household. And they do eventually mellow out a bit.

I think Bailey is the perfect name. Best of luck!

Cute baby!

I like Miles, but then I would be biased that way.

(Myles is currently a bluebird-frog)

Oh, he is adorable! Puppies are so cute, we have one (a year old now). But let me tell you, the person who invents doggie diapers will be a millionaire and become my next hero!

That puppy is just precious! You will have to remember to tell us all the cute little puppy stories along the way and how many pairs of shoes get chewed up :) Congratulations! I like Miles for a name.

SO CUTE!!!

I suggest Bailey--it's a lot easier to yell at a dog with a "eee" sound to the last name. (i.e. No, don't chew that Baileeeeee!)

CONGRATS! I'm a lil partial to Miles because that was the name of the last dog I fostered. :)

I love that his adoption day is my birthday! We can celebrate together.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! You're a mommy! That's so sweet! If you go with Bailey, it might go straight to Scott Bailey's head, hehehe.

CONGRATS!

Well, if you've tried Miles, why not Bothari?

And if you don't understand go find the Vorkosigan Saga by Bujold RIGHT NOW!

Contgrats on the new addition :)

Shelli - I love him!!! :-)

Davin - I was like that too...for years. Then I said to myself..."self, you only live once. Ya know?" :-)

T.Anne - Yeah...I was wondering about the whole sleep thing. I think he's worth a little fatigue. LOL

Mariah - thanks!! :-)

Danyelle - I love Miles too! I always wanted a cavy named miles! :-)

Judy - tell me more about those diapers. *listens attentively*

Cindy - will keep you posted on the whole shoe destroying thing! *locks all shoes away*

Lisa and Laura - oh...I will!!! :-)

Beth - *snicker* ;-)

Karen - yes!! Break out the champagne! :-D

Elana - me too!! I am leaning toward Miles. My mom hates it! LOL

Michelle - I didn't even think about Scott when I chose that name. Hmmm, it might go to his head! LOL

Liana - LOL!! Thank you! I love how passionate you are about your genre! ;-)

Congrats. Go with Bailey. Then again, you might change the name once you get the puppy. Our dogs went through a series of names before we decided on Jesse and James. OMG, that puppy is so cute. I need another one. Oh, wait, two cats, two dogs, no more animals allowed. SIGH. Definitely a Bailey. No, I know, what about Tyrone??

Aww, how sweet. I have horses, chickens, and cats. Our little dog died over a year ago and I haven't been able to even think about getting another one. Seeing your baby made me want to at least think about it. Oh, I vote for Bailey. That sweet little wonder just looks like a Bailey to me. Congrats! :)

What a doll! Miles is a cute name. I tend to think of Bailey as a girl's name, but that could just be me.

Have fun with the new baby!

Awwww! What an adorable little guy! When my husband and I got our dog several years ago we wanted a Cavalier King Charles, but in the end went with a Cocker Spaniel. Anyway, enjoy your new puppy!
